A graduate from Villanova University and recipient of a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA, Dr. Cilea opened his chiropractic practice in Marlboro, NJ, in 1997. Three years later, his practice expanded into a multi-disciplinary center of care, Advanced Wellness Center of Marlboro. AWC now includes chiropractic, physical therapy, interventional pain management, and rehabilitation services, along with acupuncture and provides the most advanced technology while staying focused on conservative, non-surgical treatment methods.
To promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Cilea is a frequent guest lecturer sharing his insights on a broad range of topics ranging from all facets of nutrition to injury prevention and wellness. He is Co-Author and contributing editor of
“101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health.”
A former collegiate athlete, Dr. Cilea understands sports injuries and knows what it takes to get athletes back on the field quickly and optimally. He continues to contribute to his passion for baseball and football through community involvement in Marlboro Little League and Pop Warner. He also helped to establish the Marlboro Diamond Club which raises funds to improve the facility for Marlboro High School’s baseball program and is currently the President.
In 2003, Dr. Cilea was awarded Marlboro High School’s inaugural Spirit of the Community Award. In 2009, he was inducted into the Marlboro High School Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2010, he was chosen as Team Chiropractor for the All-Shore
Football Classic. Dr. Cilea enjoys working out, reading, coaching and playing golf.
He currently resides in Marlboro with his wife Maryann and their four children, Brianna, Gina, Joseph and Jack.
